our services have only gotten better. We’re lucky to call Vero Beach, FL our home and even
luckier to have the opportunity to share the bounties of the Indian River Lagoon with you! We
offer a wide variety of opportunities to go explore and experience Vero Beach, but our fishing
charters are our most booked excursion.
Over the last several months we have had the honor to create memorable experiences on and
off the water with locals and visitors alike. We’ve got snowbirds who book weekly fishing trips,
locals who take advantage of our captains’ expertise in finding the best spots for the current
conditions, visitors who may have never even cast a rod before, and everyone in between. No

People book fishing charters in Vero Beach for a variety of reasons, but the most popular is
wanting to catch a specific fish. During August we are usually catching tarpon but snook and
pompano season are right around the corner. Tarpon starts to wind down around September,
but in contrast September 1st marks the start of snook season which continues all the way
through December 15th. Pompano will start to show up too, and remain thick from October
through November but can be caught all winter.
So if you’re reading this around the end of August, start of September it’s the perfect time to
book a charter for snook fishing or to catch a huge tarpon!

the planning, packing, and decision making for you. When you call in to book yours we ask you
all the right questions to figure out what the best day on the water for you is. From there we
make decisions like what bait, rod, reels, tackle, and boat to take. We have 10 captains, 7 of
which are full time! If you don’t request a specific captain we will match you up with the best fit
based on your desired fishing trip. All of our captains are licensed, carry insurance, and take
into consideration that the environment is uncontrollable, leaving room in their schedules to be
flexible with you, the weather, and life. After all, not everyone is great at waking up at first light
when they’re on vacation.
Your captain will teach you everything you need to know, and if you’re here to relax, they’ll even
cast for you! Your Vero Tackle fishing charter gets to be as involved or relaxing as you’d like it
to be. The best bait will be fished or prepared for you depending on your targeted catch and if
you want to keep your catch, your captain will be able to tell you if your fish complies with
regulations. They’ll even fillet and wrap your dinner!

We can comfortably take up to 6 people, and have a variety of boat types that offer various
fishing styles such as fly fishing, inshore fishing, inlet fishing. We have a fleet of pontoons, flats
boats, and bay boats, all captained by seasoned captains familiar with the best spots and
patterns of the Indian River Lagoon. Typically our captains take you somewhere between Ft.
Pierce and Sebastian, but will occasionally venture offshore.

to the concierge while booking that you’d like to keep your experience private. We roll with the
punches and customize your experience down to the hook and line. We’ve never had to tell a
guest that we couldn’t at least try our best to create their dream day on the water. Our business
partners on the other hand sometimes have plans of their own…the fish don’t always play by the
rules but leave it to your captain to work with what the day presents.
